Rates

• $17.99 per Day  and $0.69 per Mile

• Add Sales Tax (10%) & Rental Tax 7.7%)   Total combined Taxes is 17.7% to Rates above

• Proof of Full Coverage  insurance required to rent ALL Cargo Vans.
• Note: Always call your insurance carrier to verify coverage for the rental vehicle before you make your reservation.

Deposit Required

A minimum deposit of $500.00 must be made on a Major credit card (Visa, Master, AMEX or Discover only). If your final closed bill is less than your deposit then we will reimburse the credit back to your credit card. 

If your bill is more than the deposit then you are expected to clear the balance due to Mashariki.

Mileage

Mileage odometer count starts at the point you pick up the van and ends at the same point upon returning the vehicle.

Requirements to Rent a Cargo Van

• Valid Driver’s License  (Strictly over 21)
• Major Credit Card ( Visa, Master or Discover only)
• Proof of FULL COVERAGE insurance (Strictly with $250 or $500 deductibles only)

Smith rents the one of the above cargo trucks to move a large couch from point A to B for 1 day and covers a total of 50 miles on the odometer clock. His rental bill will therefore be as follows.

1 Day X $17.99/day                  = $17.99

50 Miles X $0.69/mile               =  $34.50

                            Sub-Total   =  $52.49

WA State Renter’s Tax  7.7%   =   $ 4.05   (King County)

WA State Sales Tax  10%         =   $ 5.25 (King County)

                      GRAND TOTAL =   $61.79

Note carefully:  Prices above do not include optional items you may with to rent such as GPS navigation, Moving equipment such as Dollys’ and calculated with the assumption that you have FULL COVERAGE insurance.

Always call your insurance carrier to verify coverage for the rental before you make your reservation.

 Restrictions & prohibited Cargo

• Only listed persons permitted to ride in vehicle in conformity with manufacturer design and safety belts available.
• Passengers cannot ride in cargo compartment for safety and legal reasons.
• Hazardous or corrosive chemicals are strictly prohibited in vehicle.
• Any types of paints and thinners not allowed.
• Construction waste material such as rocks, stones, wood with nails, bricks etc not allowed.
• Paving Asphalt.
• Guns, bows and arrows or any other type of dangerous weapons.
• Human trafficking.
• Smoking in the rental vehicle is strictly prohibited to protect other tabacco intolerant customers from harmful effects of cigarettes/tobacco and also some customers will decline to rent a vehicle that has cigarette odors.

 Safety Precautions

• Loaded truck requires greater braking distance and handles differently and therefore you must drive at reasonable speed.
• Always Wear a seatbelt (including passenger)
• Load heavier items at the front.
• Avoid taking corners sharply irrespective of whether the truck is loaded or empty.
• Do NOT attempt to drive the truck at a “Drive Through window”  at any fast food restaurants such as Jack in the box, McDonalds, Burger King etc due to sharp turning angles that may result in damage to the truck or facility.
• Always latch rear slide door with the padlock that is provided. (Cube vans)
• Always walk around to make sure all your tires are properly inflated before you drive off.
